Tell a story with time lapse
- Hey there everybody, Sean Duggan here. And this week, we're going to take a look at some ideas for using the time-lapse feature on your phone as a storytelling device and moving beyond the simple one-shot approach that is often used for subjects like passing clouds, a through the windshield road trip time-lapse, or the simple documentation of a process, such as stacking a load of firewood. Instead of a single time-lapse video clip, if the situation allows for it, consider using multiple time-lapse clips, shot from different camera angles to add some visual interest to the story. Earlier in the year, my backyard was visited by a very interesting machine that turned a large uprooted oak tree stump into a pile of sawdust in the space of about four hours.
