- Hey everybody, Sean here. I'm back at The Outside Inn in Nevada City, California. We're going to be doing a portrait of Hillary today. And you know instead of using the artificial overhead lights in this room I wanted to something working with natural light. Because overhead lights are often not that flattering. They sometimes create shadows that make shadows under the eyes. So you can actually do a lot with window light. Particularly if it's more indirect window light. Or the sun's not shining directly through it or if it's an overcast day like we have today. And it might make sense to you to try to use the biggest window that's available. Because you know, bigger window, more light, right. Well there is a big window over here but in looking around at the space I determined that the window that I really want to use is this smaller window back in the kitchen. And the reason for that is that smaller window, the light's a little bit more directional coming through. Plus the background…
