- [Instructor] In Excel, there are two very useful features that are found on the view tab in the ribbon. We're seeing then displayed by way of pictures here on the screen. The pink image on the left shows a feature called freeze being used. Notice that in the image that we're seeing, row one is visible, and then we see row 26, 27. We can scroll up and down here and always see row one. We'll talk about that in a bit, also in combination with a feature called a table. Off to the right and perhaps used not as often, but a valuable tool as well. is one called split, and for the moment we see up in the view tab the word split. Also, we see freeze. We're going to talk about both of these features and show how they're similar, and yet they're used quite a bit differently. As you're looking at the green image to the right on split, notice that we're seeing columns A, B, and C, but we're not seeing D, E, and F and G, then we're seeing column H.
