- [Instructor] Excel's filtering capability gives us a lot of tools for pairing down lists, but it can't meet all of our needs. And sometimes what we also want to do when we filter is to create a new list that's just showing some of the data, the data that we need, based on that original list. And we do that by way of relatively new function in Excel called FILTER, and we're about to use it here in J2. And we've got two different objectives. The first one is anytime the entry in column E, these are the actual sales numbers, either are equal to or meet the Quota in column D, we'd like to find those records and we want to combine that with the need of only doing that for the people who have been here more than nine years of service. At a later time and perhaps in a different location, we might want to do something similar where we're looking for any of these rows where either of those two criteria have been met. If you…
