- [Instructor] Creating charts in Excel 2 can be fast and easy, 3 and some people who haven't worked with charts 4 somehow envision that it's difficult 5 because there's so much going on with a chart, 6 or at least there can be. 7 There are two great keystroke shortcuts. 8 They're listed in the pink panel to the right. 9 These days I don't see that many people 10 putting charts on a separate sheet, 11 but I occasionally need to do that. 12 And if I wanted to create a chart based on this data, 13 I highlight it. 14 And if I want a chart on its own sheet, 15 I'll simply press the function key F11. 16 You see the sheet tabs at the bottom, 17 now there's a new one, and there's that chart. 18 And what did I do wrong? 19 Something that we all do from time to time. 20 Totals and details don't work so well together. 21 I can do anything I want with this chart, 22 but it's not very attractive and not very meaningful. 23…
