- [Instructor] Excel has many different chart types, 2 and within those chart types, there are variations. 3 Sometimes they're referred to as subtypes. 4 And one of the terms you'll encounter at different times 5 as you're considering charts is the word stacked. 6 We see the word stacked associated 7 with Column type charts, with Bar Charts. 8 As I scroll rightward, we'll see a Stacked Chart. 9 In both cases for Column and Bar Charts, 10 the basic chart is called a clustered chart. 11 Clustered Column, Clustered Bar. 12 Area Cart is another kind of chart, not as widely used, 13 but it has some merit, 14 and it too has a Stacked variation. 15 It's basic version is simply called Area. 16 Let's focus first on the Column Charts 17 and talk about why we might want 18 to use a Stacked Column Chart. 19 I'll zoom in here, make this a little bit larger. 20 As we look at these entries, 21 there's no question that Stacked Column…
