Using Draw Order to display hatches and gradients
- [Instructor] We're staying in our "MetalPlate001.dwg" file. I've left it zoomed in where we placed the gradient fill in the previous video. And as we discussed in the previous video, our gradient fill is now on top of our hatch pattern. And we need to kind of fix that so that the hatch sits on top of the gradient fill and makes it look all nice and clean and tidy as if we've sliced through our metal plate in our drawing. Now we can utilize a fantastic tool in AutoCAD called "Draw Order." Where we can bring objects to the front or the back. So we can bring them to the front, send them to the back, And we can tidy up our drawing display so that it looks a little bit more realistic. Now, in order to do that, we're going to zoom in on one end of our sectional view. Now that's the good thing, because I know that these are all one object, Can you see that's one hatch? And if I zoom in a little bit closer that's all one…
