- [Instructor] We're staying in our New Office Proposal.DWG file which is our host drawing. And we've got our Xref of the landscaping area here to the right of the building. So when I click on it, it highlights all as one object. It's similar to a block but it's a reference from another drawing in this case the Landscaping Area.DWG file. So when you click on an Xref, an external reference that's been brought into your host drawing, this is what happens. You get the external reference contextual tab on the ribbon and you get some tools in place that allow you to look at the external reference file. Now, some of the things that you can do are you can alter the view of the Xref in the drawing and you can also just kind of clip it as well. So what I can do here is I can create what is called a Clipping Boundary. Now, a Clipping Boundary allows me to edit some of the tools going on in the drawing. So at the moment, all the…
