- [Instructor] We're staying in our New Metal Plate.dwg file. And I'm going to zoom in now on the section view and the side view at the top here on the screen I'm in the model tab, I'm just zooming in so that I can see what's going on in the section view. And also the side view here. Now we're going to be working with some annotative text in this particular video. So in the model tab we need to make sure that our annotation scale is set to represent our viewport scale. So if I jump to the sections and elevations layout tab and just click on the edge of the viewport there. Down here in the status bar it tells me the scale of my viewport, which is 1:2. I'll hit Esc to deselect the viewport jump back into the model tab. And we need to make sure that our annotation scale here is also set to 1:2.
