The IoT ecosystem
- [Instructor] The Internet of Things is a system consisting of networks, of sensors and smart objects whose purpose is to interconnect all things. The IoT ecosystem is a little bit harder to define because each example is different and each system contains a wide range of objects, including different devices, apps, services and networks. So to have a general overview of the IoT ecosystem, we can divide it into three main areas: IoT technology, IoT market and IoT standards.
