How can I easily move things from Premiere Pro to After Effects?
- If you've worked with After Effects, you may have also explored Premiere Pro. After Effects is more of a compositing tool designed to build upward. It also gets used for motion graphics. Premiere on the other hand is more of a traditional video editor. However, there is significant overlap between the two as well as great compatibility. If you have something in Premiere, it's quite simple to move it into After Effects. Let's explore a few different ways. One method you can do is to simply select a piece of footage. In this case, I have the MPEG4 file selected. I can now choose Edit, Copy. Switch on over to After Effects. And now, I can just choose Edit, Paste. You literally can copy and paste items from one project panel to another. Let's drop that into Sources. Another thing you could do is select a sequence. If you choose an existing sequence, and you copy it, and then you go back to After Effects, and you paste,…
