Are you wondering how to do that one thing in After Effects?

- Hi, welcome to this course on Adobe After Effects. We're going to be exploring and answering the question: How do I do that? In this course, we're going to cover a lot of different things. To start things off, we'll go over how to set up a project. Then we'll take a look at using compositions to get your footage and assets organized. Once that's complete, we'll tackle common problems that footage or images may have; learning how to fix and enhance it so it looks its best. You'll also learn how to control the speed and playback time of individual layers, even re-timing them for speed-up or slow motion effects. Speaking of layers, you'll also learn how to animate with them and composite them. Animation techniques will include using key frames with a variety of different velocities, as well as ease methods to create natural looking animations. We'll then explore specifically working with photos, for techniques that are going to really bring them to life. And then we'll move on to text, so you can learn how to add animated titles to your compositions. We'll also explore some techniques to repair footage, such as erasing an item from a clip. Plus, we'll explore how to work with green screen, so you can create composite images right inside of After Effects. Then, since you need to see your animations, you'll learn first how to preview them, and then render and export for common delivery formats. My name's Rich Harrington and we've got a lot to cover, but this course is designed to be modular, so feel free to jump around to the section that interests you the most. I'd suggest starting at the top of the section, but many of the chapters are designed to be completely independent, so if you have a particular challenge, you can jump right to it.
