- [Instructor] Welcome to the second part of this particular little AutoCAD tips and trick series. In the previous AutoCAD tip and trick, I showed you how to get to this particular point in this particular drawing. So what we'd done is we'd generated all our geometry, our polylines, our circles, and we'd converted them to AutoCAD regions on the region's layer. You can see the region's layer up here in the Layer dropdown. So there's regions right there. Now what I've done is I've saved the drawing from the previous tip and trick and renamed it so that you've got a kind of here's one I prepared earlier kind of drawing. And the drawing now is called 305 Simple 3D Gasket dot dwg, 'cause this particular little series of two tips and tricks is all about 3D design and converting the 2D geometry into a 3D solid.
