- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We've got a new drawing for you. You can download it from the library. It's called 298,-Trace Mgmt.dwg. The mgmt stands for management. And we're going to talk about trace management in this particular AutoCAD tip and trick. Now if you don't know already, we've got this fantastic functionality in AutoCAD now where we can add traces to existing drawings. It's a bit like putting a piece of tracing paper over the drawing and kind of sketching out notes and comments and additions or revisions to your drawings. And the good thing about traces is they are also compatible with applications such as AutoCAD Web and AutoCAD Mobile. And in the latest version of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2023, you can add traces in the AutoCAD Desktop app as well, which is kind of cool. So you can add traces anywhere. And the good thing about these traces is they give your drawing mobility. You can add traces anywhere. You can use an iPad, use a phone, and so on…
