- Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We're going to take a look now at how we customize our status bar in our AutoCAD application window. So we've got a new drawing for you. 244 customization statusbar.dwg. You can see the name of the file at the top of the screen there in the AutoCAD title bar. Just download it from the library to follow along with this tips and tricks video, if you wish. And obviously once you've got the file downloaded, open it up in your AutoCAD and you'll see that it's a floor plan. Now we're not going to make many changes to the floor plan itself. We might utilize the floor plan a little bit though just to show you how some of the features in the status bar allow you to work more effectively in AutoCAD. Now the status bar is down here. Bottom rights. You can see it here, all these different icons down here at the bottom of the screen. But did you know that you can customize it.
