Ive been a TMobile customer for 25 years, this may get me to change my service. All of a sudden, out the the blue, they decide to STOP letting me send myself email messages to my phone.

This ability has been discontinued by all of the carriers to help combat spam. You would need to be on a business or corporate plan to have access to that feature.
thanks - but, thats pretty BS. I have spam shield so whats the point? Us old people cant see well enough on our phones to use google effectively, so i send myself address, etc, all sort of messages.
are people really getting spam from yahoo.com or google.com email addresses? i dont think so. they get spam from untraceable/fake email servers
whoever thought it was a good idea at corporate needs to have their toenails ripped out.
interesting you say i need to be on a business account. that makes zero sense. seems to me like they wat you to pay more money for the privilege of being able to email yourself

There shouldn't be any issues e-mailing yourself. When that e-mail goes to text, that's completely different.
