- [Instructor] Now that Windows is updating automatically, let's also make sure our Windows security settings are how we want them. I'll click start, and in the pinned area, click settings. On the left hand side you'll notice Windows update down at the bottom. That's another way that you could get into Windows update but right now I'm going to click on privacy and security, right above that, we're going to talk about privacy later so I'm going to focus on Windows Security which is this top option. From here there's one more button to click, open Windows Security, and now we're in the security center. At a glance, you can see what's going on with your PC. Anything that has a green check mark beside it is up to Windows 11 standards.
