- [Instructor] Occasionally you might find that your iPhone or iPad has trouble connecting to wifi networks that you know it should be able to connect to. Assuming that you know the network itself is operational and working properly, here's some things you can try on your device to troubleshoot. First, go to Settings, to Wi-Fi, and make sure wifi is turned on. And then see if the name of the network you're trying to connect to is listed here at the top of the screen. If it has a check mark next to it, you should be connected, but if you see it here and you're still not getting online, tap the info button on that line, and here, tap Forget This Network. That makes your iPhone forget this network, and you'll have to manually connect to it again. Sometimes forgetting and then reconnecting to a network can help fix some issues.
