Talking about your feelings can really help. Here are some other tips to make things feel easier:

  1. Things aren’t always how they seem online. Images can be edited and aren’t always real.
  2. Don’t compare yourself to others. There’s only one YOU.
  3. There are support groups like BEAT (UK’s eating disorder charity) and Childline 0800 11 11 if you are struggling with your eating habits.
  4. Appearance isn’t everything, there’s more to you.
  5. Keep a journal – it really helps to write down how you’re feeling, and you can write down all the things you like about yourself.
