- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to create our own schedule view. Now, what exactly is a schedule view? Well, in a lot of ways, it's not that dissimilar than floor plans, elevations, or sections. Now, let me explain. If we consider what a floor plan is, a floor plan will take a look at your model, slice through it at a certain height, gather up the elements that it sees there, and then draw them in a floor plan rendition using the symbology that we recognize as being appropriate for floor plans. What about a section? Well, a section does kind of the same thing. We slice the model in some location, we look into the model from that location, gather up the elements that are there, and then draw them as a section view. So, based on that way of thinking, what about a schedule? It also looks at the model, but now instead of slicing the model, it gathers up all of the elements of a particular category and…
