fantastic staff and yummy food at jensen’s bøfhus sønderborg, I have read some bad reviews online by other people but my mother and I are frequent visitors and love it there.

This place is very affordable and has great service. Would recommend the "frokost bøf" with fløde kartofler, yummy!!

Ate at Jensen's (sergelgatan, stockholm) on Saturday and when we were ordering food / drink we said we didn't want water. We had not even seen that you charge for water until just before we were supposed to order because it is not something you look for on the menu, I mean which restaurant makes you pay for tap water??? Not even McDonalds does that?? The menu stated that iced water costs SEK 15 so when we ordered we said that we didn't want anything to drink at all as we are students and are trying to save money. Whereupon the waiter says "huh ...? But it's going to be dry?" - because we were at a birthday dinner and didn't know everyone at the table, it felt wrong to say in front of everyone that we do not want to pay 15 SEK for water. So instead we said okay we'll take water but TAP water without ice! Afterwards when we went to pay, you still charged us for the water even though it did not have ice.
What made us the most annoyed was that 1. No one mentioned even once, not even the waiter that we had to pay for water, I had never been to Jensen's until that day and had no idea that water cost until we heard that another table mentioned it (as I said, It's not the first thing to look for in a menu). 2. That the waiter was surprised and pushed us to order water. 3. We arrived at 7pm and got our food at 8:40pm

It was definitely the first and last time I ate at Jensens and you best believe that I will mention it every time someone asks about restaurant advice.

Very nice food, affordable, nice staff. Try their sweet potatoe fries, magnificent together with their whiskey sauce. We are re-occurring guests.

The best things I like about Jensens is that you can have a decent date night there, with good food at very reasonable prices in a cozy atmosphere. I've been to Jensens Bøfhus twice: once for my kaereste's birthday, and the other time just because we wanted to try the lunch offer. The Jensens in Vejle had a hyggelig atmosphere with a little "fireplace" thing made of candles. The people dining there were not too fancy but not trashy- just regular people, which was reassuring. I really liked the Greek salad, and the sweet potato fries were the bomb. For my boyfriend's birthday he got some free apple cake, which he loved. I'm really not into desserts but I got a coffee that came with these little bite-size chocolate cake square thingies which were really tasty! On our date we both had the lunch menu, which is awesome because it's so affordable. I ordered my steak rare and it was super tasty; my boyfriend ordered it well done and he said it was kind of tough (but that is the nature of well-doneness, I thought?). Also I like the "favourite sauce"-- I had never tried that before but it's one of my top favorite (no pun intended) sauces now. I would really like to go here again.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

The restaurant has friendly staffs and tasty steak, and the salad was so good. Thank you for the service. Sure will keep on coming back at Jenses Bøfhus.
