Crop a photo

- [Instructor] If you've ever cropped a photo on your phone you know what cropping is. It's a way to remove content at the edges of an image. Why would you want to do that? There are a lot of reasons. Maybe someone walks into the edge of your photo or maybe you want to improve the overall composition of your photo, or maybe you're preparing your photo for a social media site that needs a square photo. In any of those situations, Photoshop's crop tool is your friend. Let's see how it works. To start, select the crop tool in the toolbar and that puts this crop boundary around your whole photo. Now, before I use the crop tool I like to go up to the Options bar and make sure that Delete Cropped Pixels is not checked like this. That's because with this box unchecked you can change your mind after you crop and bring back cropped away areas if you want to. Otherwise, they'll be deleted and you won't be able to get them back…
