now i know i have said this in the past but i feel like my art style looks anime. i wanna post memes here but i don't wanna be lumped with he generic moe art this site tends to have. personally it looks more disney to me than anything.

Imo it's more reallistic than cartoony but not enough to look anime-ish, like something you would see from a slice of life comic/webcomic or a cartoon aimed to pre-teens/teenagers. You haven't even reached the French anime category

If you want an honest answer from an avid anime fan, no. It resembles parts of the general image of anime. But is not in fact anime.

*points:
1.) the hair detail alone is a staple, in the anime community. (needs work) Think about hair as another part of the character. Has to fit the overall "personality" of the character.

2.) Anime in it's self is a derivative of Japanese culture and art style. (research more into the "style" as in clothing, appearance, style (depending on which era you choose to style upon) i.e. Modern, edo period, ect. (If doing a modern anime style, look up what is popular) (if doing an older period of Japan, look up the styles and garments they wore at the time period).

3.) Experiment with "special skills" when I say that it means think about the character and find something unique that distinguishes said character from the normal. (creative skills/abilities are what lures in the audience)

4.) If serious, go to some anime forums and ask the same question. If you are serious about it, you can take so called "noob bashing" and take notes. Don't be afraid of looking foolish. You are here to learn. (don't stray away from what you want to do)

You can clearly draw, you just need to do some research before you make a final product.

-just positive feedback

it looks anime-esque rather than full on japanese moe anime art style.

there's a bit more detail going on with the lines of the mouth and nose, and it's slightly more accurate to the general proportions of the human face. Pupils are also smaller than what's usually drawn in the "moe-art style"

The notable noses and lips, small Iris and pupils, and particular shapes that make up the anatomy really make it very Western and 'Disney' for lack of a better word. I don't look at this and go "anime".

There's some slight hints of your art looking "anime," but as others have said, it mostly feels and looks more Western. The last pic is probably the closest to looking animesque.
