Options to manage Safari Tab Groups have suddenly disappeared. Clicking on a tab group within the side bar changes the direction of chevron, but does not list contents. Ctrl clicking does not open edit menu. I cannot delete nor manage Tab Groups. I will gladly remove them, but I am stuck with them.

I'd try restarting your computer and/or updating Safari, if applicable.
I'd suggest checking for and disabling any extensions that may be installed as they could be causing unexpected issues with Safari
