Good morning all! I hope this post finds you all safe and healthy. Today, I wanted to reach out and share my aspirations of transitioning from the banking industry, specifically in AML/KYC and Mortgage Loan areas, to a more customer success-oriented or virtual assistant role. I am eager to hear your insights and advice on navigating this change, especially given the current climate. While my experience in banking has equipped me with a strong foundation in compliance and lending, I feel a deep desire to explore roles where I can directly impact customer satisfaction or provide vital support virtually. Customer success, with its focus on building relationships and exceeding client expectations, or a virtual assistant position, which empowers individuals and businesses remotely, resonate strongly with my career aspirations. However, I am aware that transitioning from banking to these fields may present certain challenges. Therefore, I would highly appreciate any advice or suggestions you can offer to help me navigate this transition successfully. Here are a few questions I have: 1️⃣ What transferable skills from banking (AML/KYC and Mortgage Loan Analysis) can be effectively applied to customer success or virtual assistant roles? How can I highlight these skills during the transition? 2️⃣ Are there any specific certifications, courses, or training programs you recommend to enhance my knowledge and credibility in either customer success or virtual assistant fields? 3️⃣ How can I tap into my existing network to explore opportunities and connect with professionals already established in customer success or virtual assistant roles? 4️⃣ What potential hurdles should I anticipate during this transition, and what strategies can help me overcome them? If you have successfully transitioned careers or possess valuable advice to share, please take a moment to comment below. I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you in advance for your guidance and support. #CareerTransition #SeekingAdvice #CustomerSuccess #VirtualAssistant #BankingExperience #GrowthMindset
