We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Payments Product Owner to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in Pittsburgh PA, or New York, NY. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Leads product management, development and strategy for large and/or complex products in the Domestic Payments Group of Treasury Services Platform. Usually assigned to product areas with high-growth potential and has fully developed core expertise on industry trends, market segments and competitor services/offerings. Develops ideas for new products. Ensures that risk, regulations, and market conditions are accounted for throughout the life-cycle of developed products. Analyses complex client requirements and develops solutions that may include more than one product. Must understand the economics behind products and demonstrate business acumen. Independently manages the development, enhancement, and profitability of assigned products and performs both operational and marketing analysis to ensure profitability and penetration goals are met. Accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the pod. Owns end-to-end of delivery on the pod's outcomes and ensures execution of the pod's roadmap towards objectives by supporting and coaching the pod's team to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the backlog and priorities. Manages relationship with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc. to ensure different requirements are met during the new product development, enhancement, delivery, strategy, and planning processes. Employs a client-focused, strategic approach to develop the business case for firm offerings in the marketplace through in-depth and complex analyses on client segments, competitive landscape and industry environment. The Director of Product partners with the senior leaders of the company to define, deliver, and innovate on our HVAC, home improvement, and solar loan products that enable customers to make comfortable living comfortably affordable and will lead and build the Product team to deliver fantastic customer experiences across every customer life cycle stage from home quote to loan success. This individual will play a key role in DomiFi’s strategy and operations by owning our product roadmap; coaching and developing future Product Managers and Product Designers; and strengthening DomiFi’s cross-functional operating teams. As a member of DomiFi’s leadership team, they represent the Product function while also contributing to and supporting DomiFi’s enterprise strategy and decision-making. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial doer who has the skills to build relationships with distribution partners across the country; fluent in both financial and technical domains, practices empathy, and has a laser focus to communicate what we’re focusing on and what we aren’t. Responsibilities - Set, communicate, and execute on the 2-year product vision, building buy-in from other DomiFi leaders to set the team and company up for success. - Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership to ensure alignment and execution of the product vision and technical product priorities. - Support Data leaders to shape the foundational data infrastructure to learn more about our customers and promote financial security. - “Bring the customer into the room”: promote a deep understanding of DomiFi’s current and prospective customers through market research, customer feedback, and performance data. - Define product roadmap and clearly articulate this to senior leadership and engineering teams. - Provide visibility to rest of company regarding long-term roadmap and short-term priorities. - Evaluate and prioritize opportunities to improve or expand DomiFi’s financial products. Requirements - Innovative, entrepreneurial, action-oriented. - Track record of discovering, building, and scaling consumer facing products that customers love. - Strong understanding of communicating value through digital products. - Highly analytical, with a strong business acumen. - Experience working with teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Today, I wanted to reach out and share my aspirations of transitioning from the banking industry, specifically in AML/KYC and Mortgage Loan areas, to a more customer success-oriented or virtual assistant role. I am eager to hear your insights and advice on navigating this change, especially given the current climate. While my experience in banking has equipped me with a strong foundation in compliance and lending, I feel a deep desire to explore roles where I can directly impact customer satisfaction or provide vital support virtually. Customer success, with its focus on building relationships and exceeding client expectations, or a virtual assistant position, which empowers individuals and businesses remotely, resonate strongly with my career aspirations. However, I am aware that transitioning from banking to these fields may present certain challenges.
