- [Instructor] There will be times when you'll want to share more than just a few rows of a single Smartsheet or even an entire collection of Smartsheets. Sometimes you want to focus on specific data across multiple sheets that your team may need to do their jobs. That's where the dashboard feature can come into play. Dashboards allow you to design a live interface to display critical information from your sheets and reports that you can then share with anyone who needs the data. Basically, they allow you to centralize all the important info and resources in one location. So let's take a look at how to create a dashboard. I'm here on the home screen in Smartsheet. Let's click the plus button to go to the Solution Center. And here I'll select create and let's select Dashboard/Portal. We're prompted to give the dashboard a name. Be sure to give it a good descriptive name so you'll be able to know exactly what it contains later…
