Transform without distorting using Content-Aware Scale and Move

- [Instructor] Photoshop's Content Aware Scale and Content Aware Move tool can help us to scale images without distorting important elements, as well as reposition objects, and automatically fill in areas that were left behind. In order to use Content Aware Scale, I'm going to convert this background into a layer by clicking on the lock icon. And then I'll choose edit, and Content Aware Scale. Now by default, when I drag any of these handles, Photoshop is going to try to constrain the proportions, or the aspect ratio. So I can either click on the link icon here to unlock that, or you can temporarily toggle off the constraint by holding down the shift key and dragging. So as I drag this over to the left, we can see that Photoshop is eventually going to have to distort this house, but it's trying its best not to. And that's because Photoshop is trying to scale down the areas in the photograph that have lower frequencies, or…
