- Now once you've compiled resources from which to do your research, it's now time to start pulling your content together into a single outline. Everyone is going to do this a little bit differently, but rather than assuming a structure up-front, I prefer to let the information guide me as I go. Since this infographic will include a historical review of E-commerce, I know that it's going to be important to identify key dates in that history that helped either make E-commerce possible or lead to important shifts in the industry. As I find dates that matter, I'm going to list them out on a separate document ordered by year. I also know that I'll want to reference this information later, as it might help to inform design. I also want to ensure that my stakeholders are comfortable with the sources that I'm using and that my audience can trust the information provided to them.
