- [Instructor] When bulleted or numbered lists appear in a document, they need to be tagged appropriately so that the user knows that the content is organized in a list. As a sighted user, the list is known by the bullet character or number that precedes each item. For a user of assistive technology, that same meaning needs to be conveyed. This is covered in WCAG success criteria 1.3.1. It's also covered in the PDF techniques for WCAG in item number 21. And it's also described in the PDF/UA checkpoint 16. Using my page navigation, I'm going to find the first bulleted list that appears in my document. And that one appears to be on page seven of this document. And so I'm going to start by zooming in on this area. So I'm just going to use my zoom button to kind of zoom in to get a better look at this. And then I'm going to open my reading order panel.
