Apply multiple materials to objects

- [Instructor] In Maya objects can have one or more materials applied. So sometimes you'll have to apply multiple materials. to a single object. So let's take a look at this tower. Now this tower was built, by combining a bunch of different polygonal objects, and what we want is we want a bunch of different materials on it as well. Now, I already have some materials set up in this scene. So I've go into windows, rendering editor's, hyper shade. You'll see that I have a couple of materials here. I have a concrete material, I have a material for the light, I have a red and white stripe material, and so on. So I want to apply each one of these, to the appropriate place on the model. So we can do this just by selecting on a face by face basis those parts of the model, we want to apply the material, and then applying that material. So it's pretty simple.
