It’s Plastic Free July, a movement helping people and organisations to take action to end plastic waste. Plastic pollution is a global problem — and its traces are certainly pervasive in Northern Ireland.

Last week, the Litter Composition Analysis Report 2022/23, launched by the environmental charity Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, made clear just how entangled we are in plastic.
