You will need

  • Paper plate
  • Green paper or card
  • Red pompoms (or paint)
  • Ribbon
  • Sticky tape
  • Glue
  • Pencil or pen
  • Scissors (grown-up use only)

Step One:

Ask a grown-up to help cut out the middle of a paper plate. This is the base for your wreath.

Step Two:

Draw around your hand on the green paper or card, then cut out your handprint. Ask a grown-up to help, as scissors are sharp. Do this lots of times until you have enough handprints to cover the plate.

Step Three:

Use the glue to stick the handprints in a circle to cover the paper plate base.

Step Four:

Now stick down some red pompoms to look like berries. You could also use red stickers or paint.

Step Five:

Attach some ribbon to the back using sticky tape so you can hang it up.
