According to TechCrunch, both iOS and ARCore-compatible Android phones will be getting dining and translation features starting this week.
The new dining feature in Google Lens will enable users to use their handsets and point them at the menu, after which the app will showcase the most-popular dishes of that restaurant, food information and even photos using the Google Maps profile of the eatery.

As for the translation feature, the new filter will allows users to simply click a sign in any foreign language and be smoothly translated. Notably, this feature is already part of Google Translate app but now Google is embedding a lighter version of this in the Lens app as well.
For those unaware, users can access Lens in the Google Assistant, Google Photos and main Google search apps. However, for Pixel smartphone users, it is placed directly into the camera app.
