The writing is surprisingly good. Just don't pay too much attention to the animation.

I consider the animation to be something like "So Bad It's Good" nowadays. Back then it did crack me up unironically. It is a pretty hilarious show, I must admit.

But the creators of this then went on to make Planet Sheen, which… well, was shito.

The show is actually pretty good,Pig was one of the best characters.
It was better than the movie in my opinion,which wasn't bad but the tone was a mess,it goes from serious and heartwarming to whacky and random really fast.

It holds up like a paper bridge. it does, but not well. funny as fuck though, it's like the writers for got children were watching, in terms of cleverness
