Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at John Horgan, you may be blocked from editing. —Joeyconnick (talk) 23:58, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
Not sure why you're anxious to get blocked, but that's exactly what's going to end up happening. GoodDay (talk) 00:05, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on John Horgan; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. TJRC (talk) 00:53, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
- VirtualVisionary, I am an uninvolved editor seeing your edit-warring on this article. Please stop it immediately.
- It's good that you have finally started a discussion on the talk page, but it's not enough to start it. Starting the discussion does not give you license to go back to edit-warring. Stop your editing of the article, and continue to participate in the discussion that you initiated. If and when a consensus emerges that your proposed edits are good ones, only then can they be made.
- I have no dog in this fight as an uninvolved editor. I express no opinion on whether your proposed text, or the text preferred by the four editors who have reverted you, is better. I'm just telling you that you're on the way to being blocked if you don't follow process and get a consensus for your changes. Just because you feel very strongly about your proposed text is not a sufficient basis to impose it on the rest of Wikipedia. TJRC (talk) 00:57, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to John Horgan while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 22:00, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
