Unable to add new order to my Apple ID due to incorrect phone number
Hi,
I have ordered AirPods Pro and they already got delivered. However, I ordered them without my Apple ID in session. Now when I try to add this device to my Apple ID, I am being asked for phone number. Each time I enter the phone number it fails with below errors:
- Format: 1xxxxxxxxxx Error: "Please enter a valid phone number using only numbers."
- Format: xxxxxxxxxx Error: "The information you entered does not match our records. Please try again."
By the way, the phone number field accepts only numbers even if you try to type anything else.
Not sure what is the issue.
Could someone suggest?
