      This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The HTMLBaseElement interface contains the base URI for a document. This object inherits all of the properties and methods as described in the HTMLElement interface.

A string that reflects the hrefHTML attribute, containing a base URL for relative URLs in the document.
- HTMLBaseElement.target

A string that reflects the targetHTML attribute, containing a default target browsing context or frame for elements that do not have a target reference specified.
