    iPhone 15 pro max transition

I just transitioned from a Samsung to an IPhone 15 pro max. I was able to get the sync working on the Fitbit app but I have lost the capability to answer or reject phone calls and view incoming text messages on my charge 5. Is this a known issue or am I missing something?

    Hello & welcome @Anita1767

From iOS user posts that I've read, it seems that iPhones need additional permissions for notifications to work with Fitbits.

This article (<-- click link) has instructions for setting up notifications on iPhones. Hopefully, this has the information you need to get notifications for your calls & texts.

FYI - You might have been able to use text quick responses with your Samsung phone. Just to let you know, this feature doesn't work with iPhones.

Thanks so much! I followed all the steps in the article and thought I was still unable to receive calls or texts on my fitbit.

Turns out my testing procedure was the problem.  I kept sending myself a text and looking to see if it was received by my charge 5.  But since I had the messaging app open on my iPhone my phone wasn't even sending notification of a new text (because the massaging app was already open). So the fitbit couldn't receive a notification that the iPhone wasn't even getting.  LOL

When I texted and called myself from my husband's phone, my iPhone sent the notification to my charge 5!

Thanks so much for sending the link to the article.
