What a sad experience

What a sad experience. I ordered Smart mushrooms for a fathers day gift which has still not arrived! I have emailed the customer help team and they have been slow at replying and asked me to phone Evri to ask where the package was, however I can see on the Everi tracking that they have not received the package. Despite this I have been asked by Smart Mushroom to print and sign a form stating I had not received this and despite asking for a full refund they have ignored this and said they can send me a new one. I support the little guy but this is not good customer care, I am still out of pocket with no product and no fathers day gift

Terrible!

Ordered 3 different mushroom grow at home boxes, only 1 had 1 lot of mushroom growth and they were not very tasty! The other 2 didn’t grow at all after 3 weeks they stink! Have contacted customer support etc no refund or new ones offered just told to soak them! Still no growth!! Messy and smelly and the small amount we had were chewy and tasteless!! Very disappointing!! Do not buy!

Zero stars

I would also like to have left zero stars like the zero help and support I got.
Purchased a kit for me dad and it never arrived. Contacted them and they said I had to contact Evi. Evi is uncontactable and I told them this so they ignored me, but I tried and it said delivered on an auto service so I contacted unsmart again and they ignored me. I contacted again and someone did reply with a patronising reply and offered another kit.
I’d specifically requested a refund as I’ll never deal with these people again.
I’m still trying to get it. They are just shocking!!

Home Grown Harvest…

The shrooms arrived and I had lots of questions.contacted the team was bombarded with information.The yield of crop was absolutely fantastic.They are starting there second growth of shrooms now cannot wait . Absolutely fantastic product pick fresh from your own home.Great for children and Adults watching your own crop grow.
If in doubt call smart mushrooms Sam and his team will answer any questions.place an order an let the magic progress.

Package did not arrive

Placed an order on the 10th of June, that was supposed to arrive in time for Father’s Day. Today is 19th and still no package. Contacted the company about it on the 17th, no answer , even though they say will get a reply within one day. I just want a refund now. Waste of time.
So no, I would not recommend.

If I could leave zero stars I would

If I could leave zero stars I would. Had a really disappointing experience with this company. My son (out of his own money) bought a kit for Father’s Day for his stepdad. The first kit came and the box was smashed in, not really an issue but the front panel was missing, the panel that you take off ready to grow. When we lifted the bag out of the box, it was black, I checked online and it shouldn’t have been black mould. I contacted the company and they said yes it’s contaminated and sent a replacement. I asked nicely if could def recheck before sending as was coming the day before Father’s Day, I was assured they would.

The box came 2 days later, the box was fine and no missing parts. Sadly, as we took the bag out it was exactly the same. So much black mould. As we were advised to throw away the last box due to contamination, we did the same. Having sent pictures, we were told it’s not contaminated!! Even though it’s exactly the same as the first box.

Whatever machine is used to seal the bags at the top, is also damaging the bags meaning air is getting in before you are ready to grow.

I’ve been refused a refund. £22 may not be much to most, but it is to my son, I’m so annoyed and hope this is taken seriously.

I wish I could attach the photos as proof to you all. Please don’t waste your money.

I bought three kits and have had great…

I bought three kits and have had great success with them, my second yield of the pink oyster is starting to grow.I had very good support and advice when I emailed customer support , I’ve tried all thre oyster kits but may try lions mane next

Very disappointing!

Just had a very disappointing experience with Smart Mushrooms! Decided to go all in and bought three oyster mushroom growing kits…When the kits arrived they were left by the courier in heavy rain and the cardboard box they were in was saturated to the extent that the boxes packaging holding the kits was also damaged. Now ordinarily I wouldn’t have complained but two of the kits were bought as presents (my granddaughter and partner)…so I contacted the customer‘support’ department who offered me ‘new packaging’ for the kits as the mushrooms inside the plastic would not be affected. I didn’t take them up on this very miserly offer. However, having returned from a working trip I noticed the mushrooms had started growing with no help from myself. Once again I contacted customer support and asked for three replacement kits. They have refused this request saying the kits are doing what they are supposed to…which is very frustrating considering I bought them originally in good faith as a ‘different’ type of present.
I will not be buying anything else from this company! Very poor customer support!!!

I received the product as a gift

I received the product as a gift, it started growing out in the box before I had a chance to use, which kind of spoils the fun and point of it.

I emailed and they response disappointing, they say you should start them within two weeks or put it in the fridge. I search the box, no indication of this and I can’t find it on the website - if it’s there it’s hidden.
