Need to manually enable screen recording permission
Tried several screen zoom application so I know typically they all need the permission in System Settings => Privacy & Security => Screen Recording. You need to manually add this app to the list by clicking the " " button. Otherwise it does what it describes. But for the lack of prompt to add the permission it's worth 2-3 stars because I would be very confused if I haven't already tried so many alternatives.
App works as advertised
This app works very well for me. I believe that the people that are saying it doesnt work just dont quite get the whole assigning permissions to an app thing which, to be fair, is more complicated than it needs to be but that is on Apple. I could be wrong on that but I have open and closed the app several times and have had absolutely no issues. Well done sir and thank you for not making the pro version a subscription.
Zoom only worked once, then it wouldn’t open!
Loosely translated, this means the app doesn’t work as promised. It’s in the launch pad, and appears to respond to a click, but then never shows up! I don’t know how to make this thing work, but I’m not going to buy the advanced version for $3 to risk discovewring more bd news.
