Did a certain scent, wick, or vessel combination pass or fail testing?

Document reliable and consistent candle burn test results with the help of My Candle Tests. This app simplifies the process of documenting candle burn tests by replacing paper worksheets with a user-friendly digital form. You can include a video of your candle at each stage of your candle test! Get a perfect representation of how your candle was burning through various stages of its test. Easily pull up your video to see how your candles performed.

Plus, it automatically calculates the total burn time of each candle - no manual calculations required!

My Candle Tests streamlines the entire candle testing process:

My Candle Tests allow you to create a test for each candle combination you are evaluating and breaks it down into burn days and candle checks: where you can do various check-ins of the burn’s progress and take a short 3 second video of its progress.

Definitions:
Candle tests are all the information about your candle. Fill in all the parameters you used to make your candle.
“Test Burns” are the burn cycles of lighting and blowing out your candle
“Candle Checks” are the evaluation of the candle’s performance during the test burn.
How to use:
Create a test for each candle scent, size, wick, and wax combination.
Fill out all the candle’s information in each of the fields. These are free form.
Create your first candle check, by clicking on the “Add New Test Day” in the “Test Burns” tab or by finding your test in the home page and clicking on “Start Test Day”.
Light your candle and set the timer. You will get a notification on your device that your timer has expired and you need to check your candle.
After your timer has expired, go to the “Notifications” tab, and create your next candle check.
If navigating to the test from the notifications tab, click on “Add Candle Check”, again fill out all the information about the candle and upload another video (limit of 3 seconds) of the candle’s performance.
Reset your timer for your next desired check in, repeat steps 5 and 6 as many times as you would like for the day.
After your final candle check of the day, hit “Complete Test Day” and blow out your candle. You will see the complete test day in the “Test Burns” tab with the accumulated time the candle burned for that day displayed under the date of the burn.
If your candle was not performing well, you can “Fail Test”. This will automatically close the test and move it to your “Failed Tests” page.
If your candle was performing well continue with subsequent test days until the entire candle is fully burned.
If it met your performance criteria, click on “Pass Test”. This will automatically complete your test and move it from the tests in progress page to the “Passed Test” page.
All of your tests are stored in either the “Passed Test” or “Failed Test” page. This is where you will see all the testing data along, your videos, and total burn time.
