1. The Benchmark Assessment Reading Record Applications (BAS1, BAS1 3rd Ed, BAS2, BAS2 3rd Ed, and SEL) are configured to sync their reading record data to the Fountas and Pinnell Online Data Management System (ODMS).
Users of the Benchmark Assessment Reading Record Applications (BAS1, BAS1 3rd Ed, BAS2, BAS2 3rd Ed, and SEL) MUST also use the Fountas and Pinnell Online Data Management System.

Constantly freezes when adding students!!
The app is great overall, when it doesn't freeze on adding a student. Unfortunately this is a huge bug and for $15 a level - this is a HUGE drawback. Please fix!
Terrible support! Be careful
If I could give the app 0 stars I would. I purchased both the app and books to test my students. I have been using the app for years. My 12.9 IPad Pro was updated to iOS 13 last week. After being updated, only some of the information saved on my iPad is visible, I can no longer access some 18 tests I have done in the past month, can no longer assess additional students. I contacted support 2x by email, 5 days later, I get a generic email saying everything should be set. Next, I do their online chat and explain the situation. I am then told that it will be 2-3 weeks before the app is fixed, they have to wait for Apple, and they cant help me access any information on their app. My question is why didn’t they beta test this? Either fix it before it was a problem or let users know not to update to iOS 13 until they fixed this issue. They never did their job so now they have made my job harder by cutting off access to all of my data for up to 3 weeks. Best part was that the support person put some of the responsibility on me, telling me I should have emailed the docs (I didn’t know that my data would be unavailable) or I should have been an online data user (more money). Take responsibility for your mistake and help users who have paid you good money!
Nice app
I really like this app a lot! It saves time giving the assessment and reduces the amount of copying I need to do. After just the third practice I had it down. I do not have an online account, so I email the PDFs out, or open them in my adobe app so I can save them. I haven't figured out how to play back the recordings I make of the students reading. It would be nice if i could do the item analysis after I am finished with the assessment so the kids are sitting and waiting for the comprehension piece. Any suggestions on playing back the recordings would be very welcome!
