AI Song & Music Maker - Donna 4+

I just got the app and I played my my first song creation. I will agree with everyone else that you need to make the songs end better and fade out or have an option for endings for us to pick from. That part needs updating. If you do this let us have the option to go back and update the songs we made. We should be able to go and edit and delete the song too. One thing I didn’t see is a tempo to go slow, fast, etc. so that needs updating too. I would also like to add my vocals to the song because I am a singer that would make it perfect. You need to have all kinds of songwriting styles for this app. Give us the option for how long the song should be. I’m impressed so far. I am glad I made the choice to pay but please fix things and make it better. I gave it 5 stars but I will come back for more reviews.

I’ve been using Donna for a month and had considered doing the yearly at $40 but now it’s $59 with the weekly price jumping from $3.99 to $5.99. I’m happy that you guys have made some updates, please don’t raise the price much higher otherwise you might steer me away as well as others.
It would be nice if we could actually make a set minute song, like a three minute song would be good if we were able to create that. I’m happy that you added on all the new genres. I also do like for the most part that I can cuss in songs, but I did final limit with that the other day with one of my classic heavy metal lyrics, which the word “k!ll” about 30 times in the song and it was flagged understandable lol but like I said another AI song generator that I’ve used was flagging me even on mild cuss words where I only used it once or twice in the song, and I found it quite frustrating, especially to my creativeness. Anyone reading this this app is worth a shot and the jump to the new price is a bit annoying but it’s still within my reach and I’m sure many other peoples reach.

A few things…. The endings are arguably the most important part of a song. If the beginning rocks, but the ending is non-existent, nobody will get hooked on the song. Also, the AI wants to rhyme almost every line and thats not necessary. Its more important for the words to fall into the cadence of the music. Occasionally skipping the cadence can be an effective artistic technique for giving the story added volume. The AI over uses the “lets ignore the cadence and emphasize rhyming” approach. Some of the lyrics the program creates is, frankly, brilliant! But the way those lines are put to music makes it sound like a first year music appreciation student had too many cups of coffee while busting out a homework assignment at the last minute. I do hope you continue to develop and tweak the AI and its performance because i plan to continue using this app and plan to continue to support you on your quest for AI perfection. Those critiques aside, you have a great product and the voices are believable. Great job on the whole!
