Awesome peri peri chicken and fried pork chops. This restaurant was only a few blocks from our hotel. It was frequented by locals and tourists alike. You can see the rotisserie chicken cooking in the window. We also got a mixed salad and cabbage soup which were both tasty. It took a while foe the food to come out, but it was a nice treat to have some chicken after eating so much fish. Prices were super affordable too. Cost was only 24 Euros for appetizers, mains and one drink for 2 people. Definitely recommend arriving before the dinner rush. This was a nice way to spend our last night of our Portugal trip.

      Surprisingly good!! We were impressed.

We ordered 4 individual slices We ranked the slices below.
      -Buffalo chicken pizza (#1)
      -Lions, tigers, wolverines (#2)
      -Veggie (#3)
      -Pepperoni (#4)

Really fresh ingredients, nice crispy dough for the pizza. If you are looking for super cheesy pizza, you might find it more with the traditional pizzas, rather than the rectangular pizzas. But we liked them just the same.

We also ordered the salad, and buffalo wings.

The salad was really fresh with super sweet tomatoes. There was also pepperoni in the salad.

The only reason for the 4 stars (instead of 5) was the plastic utensils. Normally I don't even pay attention to the utensils, but this time we noticed them more because we ate in the restaurant. The utensils are quite petite. It made it challenging to cut the pizza slices into smaller sizes so we could sample a little bit of everything.
Angry Pete's - please consider getting larger utensils. Thank you!

Super impressive - some of the best Asian fusion food I've had in a long time. We stumbled upon this restaurant the other day. We were planning to eat at another restaurant across the street for lunch, but there was a wait for a table. We noticed that Star Leaf was open so we walked right in. The initial impression was that this was a fancy place. We were told this was their first location in the USA, with most of their locations in China.

      We ordered:
      -Tropical Mango fish
      -Tom Yum soup
      -Royal Crown fried rice

Everything was amazing. The fish was so lightly battered and crisp. They also give you a lot of fish. The Tom Yum soup had a perfect balance of flavors, with just enough spice. The royal crown fried rice had a lot of wow factor with the fish eggs on top.

Service was impeccable. The restaurant was really beautiful. Be prepared to spend a bit of dough here - but I think it's worth it for a special occasion. Even their to-go boxes are fancy.

      I'll definitely be coming back!

      Wow!

So glad we found this place. It's really tiny but big enough to fit in a number of customers. This place reminded us of going to some little places in Japan.

      We ordered:
      Chicken Katsu curry
      Rainbow roll
      Linda vista roll
      Tamago nigiri sushi
      Miso soup

For us the winner was the curry. The meat was a generous portion, and was perfectly breaded and fried. The curry also had the right balance of flavor. The sushi was also really nice as well.

This is a popular spot. There is a clipboard at the front to put your name down if there is a wait. Service was really good and quick. Prices were also very reasonable.

There are so many more items I can't wait to try for next time.

      Arigato Goziamasu!

      Delicioso!!

We discovered this restaurant by accident. We were visiting family in the area, and needed to pick up some food for a potluck. We were so happy we discovered Casera. We ordered:

      -Lomo soltado
      -Aji de Gallina
      -pork tamal
      -chicken empanada (fried)
      -alfajores
      -pastel Gloria (guava)
      -pastry with nutella
      -pastry with dulce de leche
      -apple turnover

We really loved the jomo soltado and aji de Gallina. Those were some of the best renditions we've tried of those dishes. The empanadas were crunchy, and had similar filling as the aji de Gallina, but less creamy. Next time I want to try the baked empanadas. The tamal was good too, but a little dry. I'll give it a try though again next time with a different filling.

I really loved the pastel Gloria. Sometimes I live guava, and sometimes I don't. This one was a winner, and competes with other popular guava pastries I've had.

I will admit that I wasn't a fan of the dulce de leche desserts. The dulce de leche had a floral note which wasn't quite to my taste.

All in all, I'm already thinking of what I will order next time we have a family gathering in the area. We had to wait a little while for our food, but not too bad. I wish they had a website where we could order ahead, but it's still nice to be able to support a family business. We're coming back!
