    The Napa Valley was becoming unlivable. Constant rising rents (or charging tenants for water, garbage&sewer to get around those anti-rent gouging laws enacted in fall 2017), PG&E's promised power outages (read the Napa Register article about how PG&E plans to have three day- or more-long outages, and how St. Helena restaurants&wineries are planning to cope) The unbearable heat. It's been pleasantly rainy here on Cape Cod.

    I have already put out the garbage cans, emptied the dishwasher, gone to Starbucks for coffee beans made coffee and, a cup and it is only six thirty. It is almost time to do my morning gardening and then go help the little old ladies in the neighborhood.
