When we first installed Hugesnet we were completely satisfied, the service was fast, clear, never had a problem with data use and only downtime was when we were having serious weather issues. We are not big time gamers, use internet for phone , basic computer needs and watching an occasional movie on Netflix ( no other movie apps, and we don’t watch any sports events) After a couple of years we noticed that our service was really slowing down, took forever to download and start up the computer, started having downtime issues when there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Called other providers(TV - Netflix etc.)they all stated we were having internet issues.Then here lately it was nearly impossible to watch a movie without going through many, many lengthy delays. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL OUR DATA— and if we are using up our allocated plan why were we not contacted to upgrade to a different plan. ( We basically are spending the same amount of time on all our devices)There are many rumors about how we ( users) are tracked and when we don’t use all our allowances, that we are shorted and the data is retracted, to open up space. It is strange that when I finally gave up, got angry about the slowdown and disruptions and called in to complain and was awarded more complimentary data on my plan at no cost. ( does this not seem suspicious). The internet has been great, as originally purchased in the last few days, and the only downtime was during a sever weather storm. The employee that answered my complaint call handled my call very professionally, efficient, and basically was fantastic. I would hire her in a minute. The original installers were also a great team. I would also thank you for reaching out and contacting me on our service and the complaint call
Review of Lowrance
I called for information on my next purchase and was trying to decide between two different units the representative that I talked to was very helpful and informative his knowledge of the units and my past history using Lowrance products led me to spend a little more money but I’m so grateful. I have the exact units that I needed and I’m looking forward to many great fishing days ahead. I have 5 boats all have Lowrance depth/fish finders. I have tried other manufacturers and Lowrance products are the easiest to use and if you have any trouble- help is a phone call away The only complaint I have at all is that help is not available on weekends and Holidays.
