The training I, and three colleagues, received from Victoria was excellent. It was an intensive day but passed quickly. I now feel equipped and confident to deliver Lexonik Leap to our students.

Trainer was clear and very knowledgeable. Explained the purpose of each activity. I like the fact I have a script to follow in order to deliver the training and the videos to watch. Delivery was intense but fun.

I really enjoyed the Lexonik Advanced program, Claire or tutor was brilliant at delivering it. Claire made you feel at ease by asking if everybody understood, if not she would repeat it.
I know Lexonik has been successful already in our school, I am looking forward in delivering it to more pupils.next.

The 2 day training course for Lexonik Advance 3 was excellent. There was a lot of information to pack in and the sessions were intense and fast paced. However, there were a lot of practical, hands on activities for us to take part in to keep our group of 3 staff members engaged and to build on what we had already covered since the beginning of the first session. There were opportunities for all of us to practise what we had learnt and ask questions as we went along. It was also helpful to observe a trial session with real students. The trainer was friendly, knowledgeable, well prepared, efficient and very encouraging.
I would have liked a little more time to cover the wealth of additional resources available on the Lexonik cloud and how/when to use them, although our trainer did outline some useful ones.
I left the session feeling very motivated to start using this Lexonik system to boost flagging older readers.

The delivery of the course was well structured and expertly led. The knowledge required to deliver the program in school was carefully explained. Each section was fully supported with clear instructions and invaluable resources. I ended the course feeling well prepared to deliver the program.

Was unsure about what the course was going to entail, but I was thoroughly impressed with how the course went. Claire was amazing, everything was explained thoroughly and a lot of demos given, and we were given the chance to practice with each other which was fun.
We were also spoken to about all the resources we had access to, and I’m really looking forward to starting to implement the course with students to see their progress

Jane was a great trainer and made the day enjoyable and well paced. There is a lot of information to take on board but it is great that the activities are modelled and all the resources are explained. I especially found it helpful to see the online assessment tool demonstrated. Lots of opportunities to ask questions which is always helpful.

Victoria is just lovely and tried her best, as did Claire, but the training just didn’t suit being online. We couldn’t hear any of the sounds being said which were the pivotal part of the training and it all just seemed a little too slow in some parts but then also rushed in others compared to the fantastic experience we had with the advanced program in person a few months ago. If I had not have already completed that then I would have had no clue how to run the sessions at all after this training. As it is, now I have to go back and spend time watching all the videos in my own time, which in hindsight it would have just been easier to do in the first place.

We really enjoyed our training with Ian Jones. He is extremely knowledgeable, makes the training interesting and we had fun while learning. This is now my 2nd Lexonic training, having done Advance previously and now Leap. I highly recommend this programme to anyone wanting to help students with English vocabulary, spelling and reading.

A really positive training session, delivered beautifully by Claire. I came away from the sessions having gained a greater understanding of vocab, particularly around syllable sounds and prefixes. Feeling confident and excited about delivering Lexonik advance to some of our students.

I am really excited to start working with the Lexonic Leap programme. Our trainer, Ian was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and really helped to explain all the steps. I do feel however that a full day training via Zoom is very difficult as it is hard to concentrate for that amount of time. I feel two half day sessions would be much better for both trainer and trainee.

Hannah Gayler made learning fun during our recent Lexonik training. When we first joined Hannah via Microsoft Teams, our manuals had not arrived so we met briefly then had to reschedule. For our second meeting, Hannah remembered our names and made us feel so welcome. She did a fantastic job of keeping us engaged while helping us learn about the program. It's hard to keep adults engaged over an extended period via Team meetings, but it was easy stayed engaged with Hannah. If I am able to attend training in Lexonik advanced, I would hope to have Hannah as our trainer once again.
