Scam company, be careful!
On January 15, 2025, we purchased two tickets to xxxx Airlines through Ovago.com. However, upon arriving at LAX three hours before our scheduled flight, we were informed by xxxx Airlines that we could not board because our tickets lacked passport numbers, rendering them invalid.
Immediately, we contacted Ovago support specialist to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, she was unable to add the required passport details, as she believed they were unnecessary for the reservation. In an effort to find a solution, we even arranged for her to speak directly with xxxx Airlines’ local manager, but the issue remained unresolved, and we were ultimately denied boarding. This completely disrupted our travel plans, forcing us to purchase new tickets and make costly adjustments to our itinerary.
Despite numerous attempts over three months to obtain a full refund, Ovago has continually misrepresented the facts—first by blaming us for missing the flight, then by stating that it was "the responsibility of the passenger" to enter passport details, while ignoring the fact that Ovago’s online booking system does not provide fields for customers to enter passport numbers. Given that this system failure directly resulted in the issuance of invalid tickets, Ovago bears full responsibility for this situation. However, Ovago has only offered to refund 15% of the ticket price from the airline, which is completely unacceptable and outrageous.

Risky for international travel
I would not risk booking with them for international travel. I knew better and I still booked with them instead of booking directly with the airline because I found it easier to book a multi-city trip. I was wrong.
I received an email that one of my flights had an issue. I called and found out my returning flight was cancelled and they said they’d have to refund me and could hold my money and put that towards another flight. I asked the agent if the full amount I paid would be applied to the new flight and was told yes.
The same agent then called me back and said he was wrong and that I wouldn’t be refunded for the “cancel for any reason” of “travel insurance.” He also said when they booked the new flight id have to purchase those things all over again. At this point I demanded a refund to my card.
In the end I lost over $400 due to those non-refundable fees even though the flight was cancelled due to an issue on their end. This is terrible service and had booked directly with the airline this would’ve never happened.
You may think you’re saving by booking with them but if the slightest thing happens they will not help you. It’s not worth it.

Fraudulent Pricing Practices – From $2,800 to $5,000
I feel completely scammed by Ovago. I purchased an international ticket at $2,800, and thought everything was settled. Later, Ovago contacted me, claiming the fare was “no longer available” unless I paid over $5,000, nearly double the original price. This is nothing short of bait-and-switch.
I’ve dealt with many travel agencies over the years, and this is by far the most dishonest practice I’ve ever experienced. Once they had my payment and booking, they tried to trap me into paying thousands more. Customer service was dismissive and offered no real resolution other than “pay more or lose your ticket.”
This company should not be allowed to operate in the travel industry. Their tactics are misleading, exploitative, and prey on travelers who need their tickets locked in. I strongly urge the BBB to investigate Ovago’s pricing practices, as what they are doing is unethical and borders on fraud.

Click bait scam site
I searched for a cheap flight and this site came up. I entered my phone number and about 3 minutes later I got a phone call from a guy (Leonardo) saying, "oh no, that flight has been sold out. It's now over $850." I questioned how in less than 3 minutes that flight would be sold out and he just said it was. I refreshed the website and voila. It's still $684. The site is a scam to get you to call and share your phone number and email with them, I believe, to be sold to others. I have video proof.

This company are nothing but a bunch of thugs. Despite me sending every document and proof they demanded, they still refuse to issue the refund for my canceled flight. They make excuses, waste your time, and keep your money.
Do not trust them. Do not book with them. Total scam.
Warning to other customers:
I provided all documents requested by Ovago and sent multiple follow-up emails regarding my refund. No one ever replied. Their responses are vague, avoid accountability, and give the impression of intentionally delaying refunds.
This is unacceptable business practice. I strongly advise anyone considering Ovago to be extremely cautious.
