I just realized that many games have became a bit expensive though 2022 and 2023, even the cheapest ones and sales have raised up the price, this repeats in many many titles, but why? Shouldn't they became cheaper with time?

The entire touchpad is "Select" if you press it by default. Can you change it so that the left side is "Select" and the right side acts as "Start"? The small buttons are kind of annoying.
ok so me and my little brother have game shared using the family library beta, but only one of us can play dark souls three at a time. recently my gf moved in with me and i added her to our family. she also owns dark souls three, so if there is more than one copy in the family library- can he play ds3 at the same time as me? or since im the founder of the family does only my copy of the game work? i was wondering bc her games are available to me as mine are to her, so can he use her copy and play with me?
I'm trying to upgrade my steam profile by adding a gif, i optimized the file size to 3.6mb. When i add the gif, give it a title and certify the artwork, it still says its bigger than 5mb. Any way to fix it?
Long story short. Family member got them as a gift for steam (they thought I could buy games that way). So now I just have a bunch of Amazon money that I really don’t have a use for, I’d prefer to just get a digital code instead of a physical card so I don’t have to pay shipping. But I’m not seeing this as an option.
Also, does the demo in my library then change into the full game or will they act as 2 separate games like with standalone demos?
Do i have to buy every seasonal badge to get 4k exp. or i gotta buy 1-40, or i can just buy the last one and ill get 4k exp?
How long does it take for games to disappear permanently from the account? You can select the option: I want to permanently remove the game from my account. Then go back to the game tab and select: The product is not in your library and then: restore the game package again. How long until the games disappear permanently? I want to get rid of some games.

I am incredibly confused on what to buy in order to unlock the DLCs. Any help is appreciated
Hello folks.
Forgive the mobile formatting. I have a laptop that I use to play games on when I travel to work. My steam account has long been unaccessible as the e-mail used for two factor was breached last year, so I deleted the mail and updated my whole online identity.
It’s never been a problem with steam. I play mostly older games that no not require DRM. I simply disconnect my computer off of Wi-Fi, launch steam in offline mode and away I play.
However, recently when I go to click the button “Enter offline mode” which is an option when attempting to login with no internet connection, nothing happens. The button depresses as if it is being selected but then nothing else. The box simply stays on the screen.
Steam support is useless of course. They want CD keys for games I purchased 12-14 years ago, so accessing my account is not an option.
The button simply refuses to work. Any ideas at all?
Hope u enjoy!!!

I want to buy a game for a friend in the Philippines. The games there are much cheaper, but if I buy it as a gift I still have to pay the EU price for it. Is there a way I can purchase a game that are bought as a gift with the price where the target account is located? I already bought the game for myself with the full price, which I'm fine with.
This may be a very specific and stupid question because I’m a novice, but I have a Legion Go handheld gaming device (similar to a steamdeck and ROG Ally) but I kind of want to play some sports management games (and some indie games) while on the go. Problem is the ones I play (OOTP for example) say that they don’t support controller input.
If I try to use them on my device I’m forced to use the trackpad, or maybe the touchscreen or have to connect with a wireless mouse and keyboard (which defeats the purpose of playing on the go).
I’ve never dabbled with enable steam input so before I do was wondering if I use it does it force games like this that don’t natively support controllers to allow controller support?
