- When you decide to conduct virtual interviewing, it gives you a wonderful opportunity to review and upgrade your hiring process. You can improve the quality of your hire and at the same time save time. It also eliminates all time wasters. Start out with the information needed to identify the best fit. You and I both know often requisitions are extremely outdated. Hiring managers have a tendency of giving us a long list of skills and credentials. But if you really want to know what a job is like, have them use percentages. Break down each job responsibility on what percentage of the time the candidate's going to do that. Now you have a clear picture of the actual job. Also, when they use words like advancement or organize, make sure you get their definition of the words used, so you're on the same page, because your definition and theirs could be total different.
